Psychologist.

Dr. Zeina Naoum is a clinical and school postdoctoral psychologist. She completed her doctoral training at Roberts Wesleyan University along with her masters in public health at Purdue University. She went on to gain experience at Southwest Behavioral and Health Services in Phoenix, Arizona working with children in school settings on both behavioral and clinical concerns. After her internship, she began her postdoctoral residency working with adults and families at Mental Health Center of America. She plans to complete her postdoctoral residency with us at Behind the Behavior Psychology and to continue dedicating her career to children and families.

Dr. Naoum enjoys taking a tailored approach to work with her clients all while utilizing evidence based practices to provide an effective and worthwhile treatment. She is well versed in CBT and DBT strategies, aiding in the development of coping strategies, along with working with families and their children to make sure interventions are consistent across settings. Dr. Naoum will serve the needs of her clients both inside and outside of the clinic, including but not limited to attending IEP and 504 meetings, advocating for the child, and working with the parents as opposed to against them. Above all, Dr. Naoum aspires to create a safe space for both the child and their family to heal and grow.

Outside of her clinical work, Zeina is a lagree instructor and training to be a spin instructor. Her dedication to fitness and physical health highlights her passion for a holistic approach when working with her clients as she believes physical and mental wellness go hand in hand, which are reflected in the different interventions and treatment plans she believes are most effective.
