How can I prepare my high school teen for college?

Steps to get ahead with college planning during the summer..

A Learning/Educational Specialist and Academic Coach can provide a completely personalized approach to the academic and college planning process that begins the day your teenager starts high school. We understand that the college planning process does not look the same for every student or family. Thus, a one-size-fits-all service is not always helpful. Here’s why…

  • For some families, college planning can steadily begin at the start of high school, planning out extracurriculars, school coursework, and other experiences. For many others, college planning can feel like crunch time with school visits, standardized testing, and applications all jumbled into one semi-enjoyably chaotic experience. An educational specialist has expertise in understanding the requirements, steps, and process to set you and your child up for success with post high school goals and can tailor the experience to your family. They will collaboratively work with you and your family to identify college planning goals so you can select support in the areas you or your child may need most. If essay writing is the most daunting part of your teenager’s application completion- start here. If you need help navigating or exploring accommodations-start there.
